Bachelor of Science Accounting
Earn your undergraduate accounting degree online from WGU, an accredited, nonprofit, online college. The B.S. in accounting will enable you to solidify your knowledge and skills in financial and cost accounting, tax accounting, auditing, and other accounting areas. After attaining your online accounting degree, you will become a competent accountant with the knowledge and skills needed to gain a high-demand position such as staff accountant, tax accountant, or auditor.
Students interested in public accounting and earning the CPA certification are encouraged to earn the B.S. in Accounting followed by the Master of Accounting (MAcc). This approach allows qualified students to meet the 150 semester hours required to sit for the CPA exam in most states. (Requirements for CPA licensure vary by state.)
